What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle Japanese energy healing technique that encourages deep relaxation and supports the body's natural ability to restore balance.
The word Reiki combines two Japanese words:
Rei – Universal Wisdom
Ki – Life Force Energy
During your session, I gently place my hands on or just above various areas of your body while allowing Reiki energy to flow wherever it is most needed.
You remain fully clothed throughout the session and simply relax.
Every experience is different because every person is different.
Some clients notice warmth, tingling, gentle waves of energy, colors, memories, or emotional release. Others simply experience an incredible sense of calm and peace.
There is no "right" way to experience Reiki. Your body receives exactly what it needs.

No two sessions in my office are ever exactly alike.
I've been practicing Reiki since 2004 and have learned to trust not only my extensive training but also my intuition.
As your session unfolds, I naturally assess your energy and often identify areas that feel depleted or out of balance. Chakra balancing is incorporated whenever needed, helping restore harmony throughout your energy system.
Depending on what you're experiencing, your session may also include gentle guidance and recommendations for supporting your healing between visits.
Because healing isn't one-size-fits-all. Every session is customized for you.

What happens during a Reiki session?
We'll begin by talking about what has been happening in your life and what you'd like to focus on during your session.
You'll then lie comfortably, fully clothed, on my heated massage table while relaxing music plays softly in the background.
Many clients also enjoy the comforting warmth of my professional Inframat Pro, which combines heated amethyst, jade, and tourmaline with far infrared heat to create an even deeper sense of relaxation.
As Reiki flows, I'll gently place my hands on or just above different areas of your body while intuitively working with your energy.
Some clients remain awake.
Some drift into a light sleep.
Some experience beautiful imagery or emotional release.
Others simply enjoy one uninterrupted hour where they don't have to take care of anyone except themselves.
Afterward, we'll spend a few minutes discussing anything that came up during your session and recommendations for supporting your continued healing.
