A while back I was lying in bed just thinking about my life, where I've been, where I am now, this song by Sara Bareillis came on. My breath caught, I had that deep intuitive hit in my heart and sacral chakras, and then the tears began to flow. And flow, and flow and flow. This was my life! I had been that brazen and confident young woman full of dreams and plans! So what happened to her? She was just gone and I mourned the loss of her so deeply for days. In her place was this almost 60 year old woman who was basically starting over. I was proud of my accomplishments along the way but suddenly the things that had lit my fire for the past 40 years had run their course.
What I was going through was called a "transition". We all go through them several times in life. And here's the thing about transitions... they contain three distinct phases: Death, Neutral, and Rebirth. I was definitely in the Neutral zone which is HARD for a do-er! I am so grateful for the opportunity to go through an amazing program called BodyMind Coaching which helped me move through that Neutral phase and arrive at my re-birth.
